Explore the Ancient City on May Day!

Tomorrow, the "Tracing the Ancient City" water light and shadow show will debut in the waters of Jiangbin Park.

The Jiangbin Park water light and shadow show is a key component of the county's urban park and green space open-up and sharing project. Combining aquatic cinema with musical fountains, it showcases the past and present of Qiandao Lake through naked-eye 3D underwater technology, presenting a mirage-like memory of the ancient city. It will officially open on May 1st. (To preserve the overall aesthetic of the lake, the equipment platform is normally hidden underwater.)

During the implementation of this project, numerous technical challenges were successfully overcome, including the difficulty of construction, the excessive weight of the hydraulically-lifted projection panels, and the unstable water levels in the park. Facing these daunting challenges, the project team persevered tirelessly, regardless of the harsh weather. Ultimately, the musical fountain and projection system achieved flawless results, receiving widespread public acclaim and becoming a popular local check-in spot.
